    I need to know (hopefully officially sited if possible) how many amps a 20" imac uses. Thanks guys.

    I would ballpark the power consumption at about 300 watts, according to wikipedia, the voltage of a USA wall socket is 125 volts. Since amps = watts/volts:

    2.4 amps

    I don't think it is totally needed, but were making imac computer labs and need to run new electrical but need to know amperage per computer to know how much electrical is needed.
