Hi guys. I installed Win XP in Parallels and Im now trying to get internet access there in XP.

Right now I am at school where I access the internet through a proxy server, but when I put that information in Internet Options in XP, I cant get connected.

Is this because I am using the proxy? Under normal conditions (a direct connection to the internet) would that access be shared across to Parallels? I havent tried that before, and I cant right now because I dont have access to a direct connection to the internet.

Are you letting Windows detect the proxy server, or entering it manually? I let Windows look for it, and it connected right away on my wireless. The proxy should make it easier to connect.

Well, you dont need to do any settings in Parallel at all !! If net is working in Mac, parallels will install everything required to acess net from windows as well. Just make sure you have enabled net access in parallel settings.
