    How to install parallels tools in kubuntu 9.04?

    hey guys, i've installed kubuntu and when i click install parallels tools from the menu, the cd rom drive gets mounted but i cannot double click on the installer. i googled and i saw that i should go in terminal and type cd/media/cdrom. that didnt work as it said cannot locate folder or directory? what do i do??

    have to go to where its mounted at.... i doubt its /cd ... but I haven't used *ubuntu in so long I don't really recall.

    but you should be able to get to it through the GUI, and browse through the Image and find an installer...

    I use VMware, not Parallels, so not sure how they make their installer.

    the installer is the same....that is, an image is mounted and you simply have to double click on it(at least that's what happens on windows). btw, how do you install it on vmware(on ubuntu)?

    ok, i'm fedup with ubuntu on parallels 4....so, i have both vmware and virtual box by sun. which one do i go with?

    go with VMWare. I run Ubuntu via VMWare and its easy peezy.
