    The title pretty much says it all. I have full screen apps open and was wondering how to minimize the program. Is there a shortcut like in windows (windows + d OR alt +tab) to minimize full screen apps?

    Well you can always press the little yellow button in the top left corner, thats pretty much a minimize.

    Hiding them is what I do command+h, and then you see it again when you click or go back to the program.

    alt+tab = command+tab

    windows+d = expose. Go into system preferences > Expose and you can set a mouse shortcut (really useful) or whatever you want, so that you can see the desktop.

    Uhh, it wont be there in full screen stuff, cause its full screen.

    If its full screen the only thing you can do, since its a blizzard game is bring it to window mode, which i think is command+enter or option+enter. (Someone else might know the right combo if im wrong im going by memory)

    And command+d does nothing OSX specific, its only used within certain programs.

    In the upper left corner of the page you're on are three buttons (under the Apple icon) - red/yellow/green.

    command M or double click the top of the window to minimize an active window
    alt-tab brings up a list of all active programs, selecting one brings all windows associated with that program to the front
    for a MBP
    Fn - F11 movies all open windows to the side revealing your desktop
    F3 reveals all windows (and lets you select the one you wish to activate)

    As another poster mentioned, command-m is the best way to do it, or hit the little yellow bubble. Full screen apps are designed to be just that - full screen - no menubar. So you won't see the little bubbles there. But in any other app such as your internet browser, on the top left hand corner you'll 3 bubbles. These were designed to be analagous to a traffic light (duh).

    Red = hide app (does not quit).
    Yellow = minimize
    Green = maximize to the "right" size i.e. take up as much space as an app needs to show you everything.

    Edit: After 3 long years, finally 900 posts! lol
