Open iMovie, Create new project, click on File>Make Magic iMovie and enjoy.

you can also do it with Quicktime Pro, if you have quicktime pro, you can also record audio with QT Pro, which comes in pretty handy sometimes.

if you are having trouble in iMovie, make sure that the correct camera is selected, it should be as long as you don't have another camera plugged into the computer.

It's definitely one of the better in unit microphones you'll find. It's nothing compared to a good condenser mic, but it's unlikely you'll really NEED that kind of quality unless you're doing serious audio work, in which case you'll know all about it ;) (You can find XLR to USB interfaces for around $150 if you're wanting to do some serious recording).

I have to say the mic is VERY loud.
Using ventrillo, I have to set the mic volume to like, -7, or else it blows the receiving end users ears out :p

And thats me being 1-2 feet away from the MBP.
