Hey Guys, I am unable to boot into the OS, so I am going to format my drive and re install the OS. But, before I do that I have some files that I need to get off from my Music and Pictures folder. I have the latest OS X, so how can I get these off. I have an external hard drive so the only part left is getting to the files. Thanks for any help.

Macbook Unibody. I have tried getting the drive out but the one screw holding it in is tight as hell. I have been told you can use the install disk to get them off.

If you have Apple care now would be a good time to use it. If you don't I would recommend working on that screw, buying an interface cable and hooking it to another computer to recover the files. Someone with more Mac experience may have a better idea though. BTW you may want to change your sig to show your Mac system.
