    i downloaded the intellimouse driver. it works great and what not. but i miss clicking the scroller to open a link in a new tab. any way to do this?

    Open mouse properties from the control panel and on the Buttons tab change the "Wheel button" setting from default to either Middle-click or Autoscroll (can't remember/check which one it was right now, sorry).

    why was this moved to windows section??? I am using it in OSX

    cuz some mods see "Microsoft" and "mouse" and "driver" assume :p

    Middle mouse click for opening a new tab? I'm not sure thats possible in all web browsers... it works for me fine in Firefox though with no extra drivers installed at all.

    went to mouse settings and tried out all options except HANDLED BY OSX. which worked.
