Not sure how many would actually be able to help me out on this or either play world of warcraft, but after the mists of panderia patch/expantion, my performance playing on OS X mountain lion/ windows has dropped by 80%....
I'm having a hard time accepting that the expantion realy made that game so graphicly demmanding, not to forget that there are areas u can play which excisted before the new expantion and i still get low FPS...

anyone else expriencing similar problems ?

If you're running 10.8.2, it's likely the result of the GPU driver update contained therein. Not much you can do about it other than roll back to 10.8.1 or wait for Blizzard or Apple to issue a fix.

ya but it also happens on windows when i run bootcamp ?

    *edit*
I ran diablo 3 on the OS 10.8.2 and i get same problem... so im guessing u have a point there, but it still doesnt explain how it also happens on windows when i run it with bootcamp ?!

Im starting to fear that my GPU is dieing ?!?!

    whats smc stands for ?

    *edit*
ok i just googled it :)
uhmm , so shuting off the computer for 15 seconds taking out the power cord , waiting 5 seconds and turning it back on again should solve this ?
sounds a tad like a voodoo ritual :) but ill give it a try :)

    *edit*
wel that didnt help , guess im just going to try and do a recovery... sigh :(

its a EFI update that has gone wrong, you will probably need to reset the smc again in the future

    and you're welcome

no it wont damage anything doing smc resets. lets hope that they fix this soon, since it affects both OSX and windows
