    Ah. It's a stock black C2D. That's 2.0 GHz, two 512 meg sticks of ram (oh well), a 120 gig hdd, and a double-layer superdrive burnery thing (and I hear it's got 802.11n).

    Anyone know if the integrated mic is any good?

    If you got one of the "popular specifications" your macbook should ship within 24 hours. Mine shipped within 45 minutes after my order was placed, and it was during the holiday season!!

    11:15am ordered macbook pro and computer bag
    before 12:00pm both macbook pro and computer bag shipped via fedex overnight

    Of course I paid $27 extra to have it shipped overnight.

    I'm sure I got the last C2D macbook, from the last dark corner of the last warehouse in China, just like my first iPod. Everyone get ready for a suprise unveiling of the next line of macbooks within the next two weeks or so, before I get mine. (It was a refurb... said 5-7 days... the order page says it'll arrive in just under two weeks)

    edit: my jaw fell off... it's shipped already. Wheee!
