    I couldn't know for sure, but I suspect Apple fixed the win trackpad drivers in SL

    it's about time.

    a little birdie told me.

    hopefully this isn't old news.

    you should finally be able to tap to click and tap with two fingers to right click.

    I'm only familiar with Windows 7 x64 RCs on a unibody 17" (mine) but after getting the Vista x64 driver packs to install, I have had this functionality. The only thing I really need is the "ignore accidental input" thing. It's not in the Windows driver ; ;

    Windows is Windows lol, shouldnt have anything to do with SL. But if Apple decides to fix all there random bugs in one go whether related to OSX or not I will not complain one bit. Not sure if the 3 finger click thing is still needed or not on the unibody.

    It will just come with a new driver package on the disk. Nothing in SL will change the drivers in Windows. It is not as if some change in SL made it possible for Apple to fix driver bugs in Windows.

    in leopard on Vista 64 bootcamped (back when I had it installed, can't test now) I had to do 3 finger clicks to do a right click. two finger scrolling worked fine.

    it has to do with snow leopard inasmuch that the proper drivers and bootcamp 3.0 will be shipping with snow leopard.

    Hopefully bootcamp 3.0 addresses sensitive trackpad, KBC/fan control, and better power utilization.
