Maybe they just redesigned their briefcase doesnt mean the macbooks changed or will change. Maybe just a new case for the old macbooks....

i would say when they are referring to the "new designs" they are referring to the design of their new case the "MacCase BriefCase".

if not and it is a redesign they would be stating that the macbook/air/pro are all being redesigned.

Unless this information comes out of Steve Jobs' mouth or is located on apple.com, I wouldn't expect a change in the MBP design.

They could be redesigning around the same time as a MBP redesign, but Apple rarely even lets third-parties know when or how redesigns look like, so I wouldn't expect this company to have any inside info, unfortunately :).

Yeah, when I read "new design" on that website, I think of the cases and not the Macbooks themselves...

iPhone 3G being a pretty big exception to that statement.

That's what I thought too when I read what's on that website. Really got my hopes up for a while regarding new redesigned Apples.

there have been rumors of a macbook pro redesign every time there is a revision. people have been "expecting" it for years. if it came tomorrow, people would be like "i KNEW it", but people have seriously had the same attitude for YEARS.

so stop worrying about the redesign.

I'm totally new to macs, but recently got to see them at a local apple store, and for one I love the design and wouldn't mind if they kept it for a little while longer.
I'm just waiting for the montevina refresh. :)
