    That's just bizarre, even for Apple. Maybe they've been receiving complaints, and just don't want to deal with it anymore so they're replacing the machines.

    Could this also be a sign that the 17" models are soon to be updated with LED screens? That would definitely cause them to be more loose with them, I guess.

    Wow, I've never had any problems with any of my Apple computers, except for the CMOS battery needing replaced once on my old Performa 550. Even my iBook, which is 6 years old, doesn't have a thing wrong with it other than old age.

    Really makes me wish my current laptop was an Apple instead of this HP I got. :p

    Maybe if you take your HP to apple and say "There something wrong with this laptop, it's just awful" they'll give you a new MBP :p
