It's also similar to a religion in the sense that the "unbelievers", for whatever reason, always feel like it's their duty to wage a holy war on Apple
As a rational, middle ground user of some of Apple's products, I always feel like I'm sandwiched between the fanatics who condemn me every time I utter a single phrase of criticism and the haters who won't be satisfied unless if I renounce everything Apple has ever done. -
In other news, there are fanboys for everything.
Computer makers, videogame developers, videogame consoles, television manufacturers, sports teams, bands, music genres, movie directors and actors. -
As mentioned earlier, this is just asking to be flamebait, and was also posted earlier, so I'll lock it prematurely
But thank you to those of you who posted thoughtful comments--there inevitably will be fanboys for everything, and with them, just-as-devout anti-fanboys. Best thing to do is to take the reasonable middle ground.
