For instance, I have 2 albums by Coldplay.
When I try to organize songs into 2 albums I have a problem like this:

What should I do to have just 2 albums?
Thanks

Hard to tell definitively without screenshots showing the full ID3 tag information on a few of the tracks in question.
The rm -rf-esque answer is to clear the tag fields and sorting information that is inconsistent through the tracks on one of the CDs and see if that helps; always does for me. If you can post some screenshots of all the ID3 info from, say, "Yes" and "Viva la Vida," we could probably give you a straight answer. -
You would need to go into "get info" and then into "info". Something NOT common to both albums is preventing them from merging. It's NOT Genre. That will not restrict them. It's usually something like "part of a compilation" or "composer".
I use Coverflow anyhow. Little things like that bother me, and I'm a little neurotic when it comes to solving those little annoyances. I'll keep an eye on this thread. Keep us posted. Not sure if this helped, as your inquiry was pretty vague. Could you expand on it a little? -
Firstly, try sorting by album, that should merge the top and bottom ones, giving you 2 albums. If that fails, highlight all of that album > cmd click > get info > re-type all the info for artist/album/any other text field that appears in there. Any blank text fields put a space (you'll see the tick box tick) and then delete the space. This tricks it to think its changed and that can sometimes force a refresh on the tags, making them appear correctly in itunes.
Hope that helps. -
I`ve tried everything you guys said but I have the same problem.
I don`t know what`s wrong. Where can I find ID3 tag info?
Any other ideas? -
Use the "get info" function as is described a couple of posts above me -- that will show you the ID3 tagging of the selected track.

In the screenshots the tracks have been listed by name.
Try to see first how they are grouped, when you list them by Album, or by Artist. Or check Grid View. -
Use Part of a Compilation - it works fine. I am also very anal about these things and I have it all covered with "Part of a Compilation"

On the other hand, it's inconvenient to mark albums as compilations when they are not; for one thing, unless you specify an 'Album Artist', the Artist info will display only as "various artists"; and even if an 'Album Artist' is specified, the folder containing the mp3/m4a files will go under 'compilations' in your harddrive. -
The culprit here is most likely the "artist" and "album artist" fields being different, as we can see that "artist" is consistent, I'd look at info on "Yes" and make sure that "artist" and "album artist" are the same and identical for both tracks. Those info tags (ID3) are very picky. Even case sensitive.
Good luck and let us know how it goes. -

Even if they look identical, they can sometimes not be, try selecting all the tracks that should be grouped together, and change the artist name eg by putting an extra space at the end.
This often fixed the problem for me.
