    Windows is the same since Windows 95? Sure, there are similarities, some of which you've mentioned, but there are many other differences. Hibernation has improved, stability is better, System Restore is new since ME, defragmentation is automatic since Vista, DLL's have been improved to support multiple versions of the same DLL. The entire underlaying system has been changed. It'd be like saying Apple System 7 was the same as Mac OS 9 - they may look more or less the same, but there are important differences.

    BTW, this is an Apple and Mac OS X forum - talin has an Apple and is discussing it, whether or not he runs OS X on it or not.
