Hi all, I was wondering if there was a way to import a .AVI file into the iTunes movie Library. I tried to drag and drop it, copy and paste, and it didn't work. Would there be an easier way to make an .AVI file into a .m4v, and then import it that way? Thanks

Handbrake might be able to do the conversion for you

Thanks! I never even thought about that...
HandBrake did the job for me.

Visualhub works a lot better than handbrake, imo.

I googled it and it said that it was discontinued and no longer for sale..

what about windows iTunes?

no, itunes (mac&pc) will only import .mp4 files
your best bet is handbrake although i also agree that visualhub does it better... you can still find a few places on the web where you can download it.... and it might be worth a try.
