I just learned how to Reduce Preview's PDF zoom after Spotlight Click here for the article

Now, I'm wondering how to tweak the Finder expansion button. When I hit it, it expands Finder but not enough. I want it to cover half the screen, or the full screen, without me having to stretch Finder. Is there a way to do this?

Also, is there a way to fix/change the position of Finder when I open it? For example, I want it to open so that its top-left corner is on the top-left corner of my screen.

    Thanks.

from what i've experienced, if you open your finder, and resize it, and close, if you reopen again, it should open in the same size as the resized version.

i just tried it and it worked
