You don't have to donate to get Neo Office.

i swear, i think i need to donate cuz when i clik the link to download, nothing happens. it keeps bringing up the same page.
-
Yes, as far as I know, donating is voluntary. For now NeoOffice offers the best OpenOffice experience in OS X; but, keep an eye on the OpenOffice.org site for development on a official port to Mac OS X--supported by Sun. Do not have a link, but check the support pages under Mac Support.

I just checked the NeoOffice download site; there is a button below the donate button, to "Skip donation", then follow the pointers from there. It works fine here in Firefox on WinXP.
-
Yes, it is not mandatory that you donate before downloading NeoOffice. There is an option to Skip the Donation. NeoOffice is completely free, no donation required.

I beleive IBM will be releasing a Mac version of the Lotus Symphony (OpenOffice-based) suite soon.
