    Hey everyone,

When I try to burn a CD with iTunes it says that my burner doesn't have enough laser power to burn a CD. What does that mean?

Sounds like the drive is going bad. If its still under warranty call Apple, or take it in to an authorized repair shop

    Try the infamous language fix:

    Open System Preferences.
    Click on "International"
Under "Languages": Drag any of the other languages to the top,
then drag English back to the top.
Set "Order for sorted lists" to English
Set "Word Break" to "English (United States, computer)"
    Close System Preferences
    Restart computer

Hey Blurb- I see you have an iMac I was thinking about getting one whenever StarCraft 2 hits store shelves the 20" version. You recommend the build of the machine?

Definitely. It's my first Mac, and I'm very impressed with it so far. It's also a refurb.

I was expecting there to be at least something that bothered me about it, whether it be a slightly crooked USB port or a faded logo or something. But no, it's absolutely wonderful. I've had it for about 2 months now, and there's nothing that I can find wrong with it.

My only gripe with it is that the Airport Card runs a little hot: 140 degrees right now, and that's only with one FireFox window open as well as Adium. And I have all of the fans running at 1800RPM.

But other than that, I'd highly recommend it.

One thing to note though, is that I haven't gamed on it one bit (yet...). From what I gather, the 2400XT isn't quite up to par for most modern games, so you might want to watch for that.

Awesome review thx, I'm guessing SC2 wont be out till late 08 and likely 09 so I think the GPU should be up to par by then. Current model I'm looking at is sporting a "ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB memory" and with Blizzard games they usually don't make the specs hard to support (past game comparison)

I think personally the 24" is too large of a screen and too pricey so I think the 20" will do nicely. Per your recommendation I might consider a refurb to.

Blizzard games are EXTREMELY scalable and you will probably most definitely be able to even run it on your macbook with no problems(with low settings of course).

Yeah worst case I still have my old Dell XPS Gen 2 with a 6800 GT Ultra card in it. Although 2 gen ago it's still runs really well so if my wife is against the iMac I got a backup for it. I just want the 20" vs. the dells 17" and I don't want to buy an external monitor.

I am impressed with Blizzard though they really know how to give a game an amazing look but leaving some old hardware to run it relatively smooth. But I don't think the Int graphics card in the Macbook's will do it.
