New MBP can't find where it will show me the speed and signal strengh for my wireless connection.

If you click the WiFi in the menu bar and click it. At the bottom there is the option to go into wireless preferences. Under AirPort there is a more detailed signal strength. There is no way I know of in OS X or Windows to show the real speed of your wireless connection. It will show what it is capable of, but actual speed I believe needs to be timed manually.

on my pc under wireless connection it tells me how many Mbps it is communicating with my router
