First Fat32 was invented by MS and plays fine with Windows and NTFS... you probably mean HFS+ that Apple uses.

you could have just added NTFS support to Mac OS X.... and used your NTFS drives fine.

Being an educated young professional still doesn't mean these types of people aren't smart with their money. It might've been a bit more helpful if the other poster placed a link to the article in his post rather than telling me to go find it since he was trying to make the point. That's funny that you say that anyone below 40 is considered young. Day by day it's getting easier to tell the age level of this forum. :p

You're not getting anyone excited about your PC purchase. Maybe you should share that on the Windows forum. And while you're excited about your new Dell V13, would you like me to post a nice link to the subpar review it got from Engadget, or do you already know it's got poor battery life (yeah, 2+hours, LOL) and it's not interchangeable? Or maybe you already know the screen sucks and it's washed out with limited viewing angles, or maybe you already know it's got a plastic palm rest and a lot of flex in the keyboard? Most people want long battery life on a notebook like the Macs. The Macbook's battery isn't interchangeable either but you get 7+ hours. Haha. :D

Please go back to the Windows forum and stop trolling here. Must be boring over there with people talking about problems and anti-virus stuff.

Thanks, again, the non-Mac forum is just a click away so please share your cheap crap machine with others who care. :D

Also, stop trolling. The report-a-post button is just a click away for me as well.

that only shows you're cheap; not that Mac users are "big spenders". PCs have only been this cheap for the last few years...and computers that cheap are generally greatly debilitated in some real ways (usually graphics). What were you doing before then? Computing at the library?

I don't know I was just guessing on the file systems, but I just know that when I connected my External HDD I could not send files over to the Drive but could read files off the drive, and I was just very frustrated. But with that being said I didn't know what to do with my MAcbook other then emails and browse the web, and the fans never seemed like they were on or were working as the base of the system got too hot for my comfort, i7 though. I'm pretty happy with the Alienware Systems though. I'll probably buy another macbook 15 inch this summer and try it all over again and see if I like it.

To me, the switch wasn't easy, but I strongly recomend you to give osx a try. I've been a windows user for many years and now, after a couple of years using my mbp, my feeling is that I have saved a lot of time because in this two years I've been focused only on my work without being disturbed by scanning, warnings, slowdown, etc.
