Its a basic question, I have tiger and I wanted to know if you guys thought it was worth it, in my case $70, to update to leopard? This isn't a rhetorical question, i would like your guy's opinions. I've looked at some of the new features, and they seem nice but not very pertinent for me. I guess thats how all new OS's seem.

If you're looking for more features don't spend your money. However the programs are improved, eye candy looks amazing, and performance has definately been more optimized. Things seem faster. I would say go for it.

Well, its definitely a worthy upgrade, if you ask me. A lot of its new features will really come in handy for me personally, and you're getting it for a mere $70. Need I remind you about Vista's pricing? ;)

I just left my local Apple retail store's Leopard launch event and I must say although Leopard will need some tweaking you most likely will not like Tiger after seeing Leopard. I was so impressed. You have to see it in person and it was definitely speedier all around. Very impressed and the T-shirt was very cool. :) Mines shipping on Monday. It's worth the wait.

If I could get it for $70 right now, I would probably do it. I have not checked my school yet, so we'll see if they offer it at that price. Anyway, the thing to think about is that all new software needs to go through a break-in phase, so those who get Leopard now are bound to have a few headaches. However, I doubt that will last long, it should be a solid upgrade.
