I can't change the name of folders on my new MBP. When i double click and the icon changes so that i can edit the text, it won't let me type or delete anthing in the box hence i just have various untitled folders at the moment that can't be changed. What do I do?

Where exactly are these folders located? What are the permission settings on those folders and on your user account?
