My 15.4" MBP 2.16 ghz core 2 duo model, 4gb ram, 200 gb 7200 rpm hard drive. Good condition. for his...

It looks like your mbp is much better than the macbook despite the slightly slower processor.
-
That is not a good trade. The MBP is much better, since it has a dedicated graphics card, more memory, a great hard-drive, and hi-rez screen.
-
Fair trade? No. Good trade? Yes...for him!
-
no way man no way..
-
Absolutely not! There is no real benefit for you. The difference between 2.16 GHz to 2.4 GHz, despite your older processor, is absolutely not worth it considering you have much more RAM as well as a dedicated graphics card. No go!

stealthsniper96 What Was I Thinkin'?
Nope. unless he is a REALLY good friend.
-
no way,it is a rip off
-
another no go...
-
Did you lose a bet or something?
Btw, I have a nice mint 99 civic, only been in an accident once and stolen twice but otherwise great, wanna trade? -
I'll give an '08 BMW M3 for that!
-
I'll give my Evo 9 for that .
-
He is willing to throw in some cash...what about now? I guess it depends on how much cash.
-
stealthsniper96 What Was I Thinkin'?
Yea how much cash will he put up? I still say you should keep the pro.
-
Yeah, depends on the cash. I would say at least $300 with that...make it the best deal for you, right
.
-
hes asking me how much im lookin for. Hmm...I'm going to ask for 400.
Now is it a decent tradeoff? -
I still think MBP is better than MB. Like Sam said ask $300-$350 from him .
-
I still say no
-
Your mbp is MUCH better. Dont get conned.
-
what makes you want to make the trade? You could easily sell the MBP and be able to purchase a brand new Black MBP I would imagine.
You will only see a performance hit by moving to that MB from your current machine, if you can currently make use of the 4gb of RAM.
take out the RAM and the HDD and it might be a fair trade with cash from his end. -
You need to ask for cash along with that trade. The MBP is far superior. Depends though on the conditions of said machines.
-
The guy offered $375, and I get to keep the 4 GB ram and the hard drive, providing that I can swap the hard drives with no problems ( which I can do ).
I think it's an alright deal like this...I gain a faster processor but lose the video and bigger screen...both of which I can live with. -
If you find the MBP to be over your needs, then you got yourself quite a nice deal!
-
That's a great deal! grats!
-
nice nice
Is this a fair trade?
