My friend is selling me a brand new sealed Macbook Pro 2011 15inch 2.3ghz, 4GB, 750GB, Hi-Res Antiglare for $1,800 even. He got it as a gift and and already has one. I've been looking for a MBP, and I think $1,800 is a great deal. What do you guys think?

I'd be buying that...but with a glossy screen...for around $2000 US. Does that answer your question?

It's a good price versus what you'd pay retail. However, I don't think it's worth it from a price to performance ratio perspective. Unless, of course, you need the CPU power. That makes it a good deal.
