I've only had my MBP for about a month, and the overall battery health is at 99% with one cycle. Is this normal?
-
Did you calibrate the battery? Try calibrating it again, your battery health may shoot back to 100%.
At 99% I'm not too worried, its not that normal but its not considered "defective" yet. Keep watch of it though, if it drops below 90% anytime soon (within half a year) contact Apple. -
I think you are ok. Like Sam said, if it were a real drastic drop or if it starts to rapidly drop, then worry.
-
Nope. Could that be the problem?
-
Yes, then there is a very big chance your battery health will return to 100% after you calibrate it.
-
It will fluctuate all the time, calibrated or not - it might be anywhere between 96-100% for me when it doesn't charge anymore, after using it on battery power and recharging it'll usually be back at 100 again. I wouldn't worry about it unless it goes much further down and doesn't come back after a recharge or two.
Is this normal(battery life)?
