    i work at best buy, and can get to our "auction site" which is really just a third party site. its run through deal tree. i've purchased something from them before. it was an acer computer for 200 bucks. it worked, but the CPU fan sounded really bad, so i think it was a motherboard issue, and i returned it. however, here i am again. they have apple products on there i just remembered. heres one for example:

    Auction site is completely legit. It's actually advertised in toolkit and accommodations, you just have to do some digging.

    well with the acer i got from there i found out that the deal was too good to be true. so idk. we'll see.

    Well if its a penryn it should still be under the 1 year apple care warrenty, and apple is pretty good about fixing stuff.

    So even if it is a dud, apple should replace whatever's wrong with it, with no hassle.

    i think ill wait for montevina and get a real apple. that way it'll have good specs for the price.

    you may have to wait until september for macs to have montevina. they let everyone else get the kinks out. they smart.

    That model is not the Penryn refresh. Penryn MBP's have a 200gb by default or the upgraded 250gb if you ordered custom.
