Guys, I have a question. After installing my new PNY 8gb ram on my MBP, it started to have random crashes(when it gives error message and asks to press the power button). Is there anything I can do or should I just contact the PNY?

Remove 1 of the ram pieces and see if the crashes goes away. If not try the other piece. Then contact the mfg and get replacement(s).

I had suspend issues with the 8GB of G-Skill RAM I had bought and had to RMA it and get the Apple-hardware tested version of the G-Skill 8GB RAM to resolve my issues. My MBP was definitely finicky with the originally upgraded RAM sticks. Talk to PNY and ask them what the best option is for your hardware. I contacted G-Skill and they told me about the other RAM they had.
