Somehow I get jerky playback playing on WMP9. I tried to play it on VLC and it works perfectly. I would just use VLC to play my videos but it doesn't have full screen feature like WMP9 does. If there any fix for that?

I just got my mac 2 days ago so i'm all new to this thing.

Vista has some playback issues caused by goofy ATI drivers. You might want to update to the latest Catalyst drivers available for Vista.

I don't think vista drivers are his issue on the mac. Have you tried command-F to get full screen in VLC? Honestly there shouldn't be any reason for the monstrosity that is WMP to be on your mac...

First I would ditch WMP9 and get Flip4Mac to play all your WMV stuff. See how that works out.

To summarize what has been posten above:
    1. Press Cmd+F to go full screen in VLC
    2. Trash WMP9 and download Flip4Mac to play all your WMV files in Quicktime http://www.flip4mac.com/

Ya. Or if you really want to make sure you get rid of it something like appzapper will do the trick as well.
