Even though its pretty much accepted as fake, we may see some of this tomorrow...
-
Yeah I would love to believe this too but most of it are just updates and some of it makes no sense like the new Macbooks having a pop out DVD drive? Is Apple going back to the old style? xD.
Oh well, it all could be true but we'll see tomorrow. Most of it sounds pretty lackluster so far. -
-
I'd say its probably not true...several "keynote transcripts" are leaked everytime a big one happens, and none have been true before. Some of it would be nice though!
By the way, the Mac Pro is already announced, so it seems this keynote transcript is even less likely to be true. -

Yea I saw this on Engadget today. http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/14/macworld-2008-keynote-leaked-nope-not-a-chance/ lol the person who created this could have been a bit smarter.

I love when these come out because they are so far fetched. It would take two keynotes to announce all of that stuff! Generally, 2-3 products is all that get into the keynote. We'll see tomorrow I guess!
-
That'd be so kick ass if the "MacBook Air" if even exists, would start at $1200, it would be a VERY nice deal. But to me it seems unrealistic, why the hell would I get a macbook for $1099 if I could get a computer 100 times better for $1199? I mean thinkin about it, that computer has a higher resolution, equal graphics card, like 2 pounds less, 30 minute-longer battery life, and it'll be faster. I don't see this keynote leak as true at all...

Uhh, the chances of His Jobsness saying anything about the new Mac Pro on stage is next to nil. Really, if he was going to, why the hell would they bother releasing it a week before?
Fake, definitely. -

Taking a quick look at it tells me it's probably fake. BTW, the Mac Pro has already been refreshed to Penryn, so that's one of the reasons it's probably fake and the info about that is off. I doubt the only thing big things Apple is announcing are the iPhone SDK and the "MacBook Air" (which is the rumored name of the new MB portable), if the keynote was really leaked it'd atleast name the new MacBook. It's a fake keynote made from rumors and based from how Apple usually holds their keynotes.
-
Even funnier, none of the keynote transcript has anything to do with "Something in the Air". LOL.
-
Yeah this is fake. But who knows maybe there will be a macbook refresh announced tommorow. But they were already refreshed november so i doubt it. Who knows.
-
No one's really saying they're refreshing the macbooks, it's more of them adding to the macbook line or replacing the macbooks not updating them

The last MBP upgrade was in June so I'm sure the MBP will get get updated (especially since the MB has Santa Rosa, too and Penryn came out), it might even get a new design, the MBP and PB lines have had the same alumnium design for about five years, with very little changes.

I would like to bump this up hehehe
