So for most of the life of my new MBP (~3 weeks), some of the time when I wake the computer up from sleep, the screen will go gray and it will tell me to restart. I don't know what's causing this - it isn't like I just installed a program that might be triggering this somehow...is there anything I can do to try to figure it out maybe? I'm not really familiar with panics.
Also, my Boot Camp seems screwy (it just went this way today) - when I boot up in windows, the Windows XP loading screen (with the forever-scrolling blue bar thing) stays there for a long time, and then when my log-in window comes up, I can't move the mouse or type - on either my external keyboard or my laptop keyboard. The drive is still recognized in Mac OS as "Untitled" and I can see the contents, and I put in my Windows disk and did a chkdsk, but it said it appeared fine. Any thoughts on this, too?

Try repairing Disk Permissions and resetting your PRAM, see if it helps stop the Kernal Panics. You can find instructions on how to do that in the Troubleshooting section of the Mac Switcher's Guide.
If it doesn't solve it, try reinstalling OS X. Remember to de-authorize your iTunes account, back up all your data before reinstalling OS X. -
Windows login is definitely slower than booting to Mac OS X. Without actually timing it I think it takes my MBP about 40 seconds to complete an XP boot. You can try defragmenting your Windows partition. That may help a bit.
How to Defragment Your Disk Drive Volumes in Windows XP
The trackpad and keyboard should be recognized by the time you reach the Windows login prompt. Try reinstalling the Mac Windows Drivers. And if you're using a 3rd Party mouse/keyboard reinstall those drivers as well.

Thanks for the tips guys - I reset the PRAM and repaired the disk permissions, so we'll see if that stops the kernel panics. For Windows, it had been working just fine for a few weeks - and it didn't take nearly as long to get to the login screen, and then the keyboard and mouse worked just fine to log in. I'm not really sure what might have happened to cause this problem. I'm thinking of maybe just erasing the partition and re-doing it.

Hope it works out, niemassacre. Keep us posted

Update - I left my computer running last night to see if waking it up would cause another panic, but it didn't - we'll see if that continues. I also wiped the old Boot Camp partition and reinstalled Windows - it's working fine, so I guess something just went wrong. Hopefully things will stay working! Thanks for all your guys' help with these issues.
