    I just got this HDD because I like the Design/firewire/durability. Tested 10 movie files that play fine when I start them from my main drive. Tried playing them off the La Cie and every 30 seconds there is lag, glitch, slight audio clipping. (They also played fine off my WD 500gb passport) So Basically im wondering if I should RMA it. I am using the Firewire 800 cable (I would not keep the drive if I had to use USB because it was like $70 more than comparable USB hard drives. I even tried the extra usb power cable it came with. Very disappointed. I probably should have just stuck with WD.

    Reformat if it does it again RMA or get new one if under warrenty.
