    The iMacs are not using Core i7 CPUs or the Nehalem architecture. They're using the nVidia 9400G chipset that supports DDR3 memory.

    Yep, you're correct. On Engadget the headline originally read "Core i7 powered iMacs" but the article has since been updated to add this at the end: " Update: Early information across the wires listed the new iMacs with Core i7 processors. Sadly, this is not the case, and we've updated the post to reflect the boring reality of the situation."

    Oh well. That was short lived.

    We'll considering the high end imac is the same pc I built my brother last summer, there's really nothing special about them. :p

    Would have generally been all love and joy around the net if they actually used newer generations of processors. ^^

    I still like them more then most of others,but it is a lame...I think they need a punishment now to get back normal!they are spoiled with their awesome sales!
