The most useful feature for me is the ability to scroll without focusing on the window.

I liked the feature that made some of my applications no longer work until they're updated. Wait, that's not a feature?

All humor aside, I like the new screensaver "Arabesque". Spaces is also a nice addition.

If you ever accidentally delete a file, mistakenly overwrite a file, or have a HDD crash you won't question Time Machine's usefulness.

I like how the available wireless access points display whether they are locked or not. Spotlight now works like it should have from the beginning by highlighting the most likely result. Now it works as a very nice app selector. I like how the OS has an overall uniform theme. I've been waiting for this since OS 9. Though it still needs some work.

I brought my silver iMac back for exchange yesterday (dead pixel). Brought the new one home (came w/ Tiger preinstalled), popped in the Leopard install DVD, selected install OS, rebooted, selected utilities>restore from backup. Time Machine found my FW TM drive, I confirmed and the process began. Came back 90 minutes later and found my new computer was set up EXACTLY like my old one- minus the dead pixel :). This was great as I didn't have to reinstall any apps (Logic Studio is a 2-hour install ). All I had to do was authorize iTunes (I deauthorized the other one before I returned it).

I like Spaces, Quick Look and how Spotlight runs a lot faster now (still don't have Leopard though, just tried it out :().

Not any one thing I can put my finger on...

I like the overall responsiveness... for the first time ever, OS X seems truly responsive at the UI level...

The unified look is nice. Not something you'd think you'd notice, but you do.

The subtle tweaks to the finder. It seems less annoying.

Or if you do something stupid and part of your system gets hosed. That happened to me this afternoon. Popped in my Leopard boot disk and ran a backup from earlier this morning before my mishap. Went grocery shopping, came back, rebooted, and now I'm back in the game.

    Kudos to Apple.

Hate to be so complaining, but I don't actually like the new unified look that much...it seems so "dreary" now with dark gray. I'd rather it was a gradient style like System Preferences in Tiger.

Minor issue though, and I probably will get used to it once I try out Leopard for a longer time.

It is a bit dreary, but the "unified" part looks better. ie Firefox looks less like a bastard stepchild. Less inconsistency overall.

I think Leopard in general looks dreary.

The half baked transparency effects (menu bar and drop downs) just end up looking muddy. The colors are all dingy greys and blacks.

Somehow, Vista looks somewhat better in this regard, and I think Vista's new look is largely gimmicky as well.

Yeah, Leopard overall is pretty "dark"...that's why I preferred the grass background over the new space one :p. I don't know, I just don't like a "space" theme...I mean, it works for Time Machine, but overall, I don't like space themes.

I like how they unified everything in Leopard so all the windows stay consistent, but what about the scroll bars? In iTunes and iPhoto they have the dark bluish colored ones and the rest of the OS has the old aqua scroll bars. Also what about the buttons and the traffic light little circles for minimizing and stuff. Why couldn't they spend a couple of hours to fix this up? Could they have rushed Leopard?
