I tried to install Windows 7 on my MacBook and ran into a little issue so I had to cancel the install but now the computer tries to boot into a Windows partition with no OS installed so I get the please insert cd dos looking text on my screen. SO everytime I boot it now I have to hold the option button to boot into OSX. There is no other option when I look at boot order only OSX, anyone have any idea how to get rid of this?

Click on the  in the upper left corner /

select "System Preferences" / under "System" Header choose "Startup Disk"

Select the drive you want to start --- that will now be the default drive until you select otherwise !

Well the problem is that there is no other partition, just an error message that appears unless I hold the option key and manually select OSX

Go to disk utility and delete the windows partition.
