This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Never heard of b&h photo but a simple Google search shows they seem to be a reputable seller

    B&H is an authorized Apple reseller so the product and deal are legitimate. Just make sure to add the AppleCare extended warranty when you buy. B&H has the best price on this at more than $100 less than what Apple charges, and you'll be covered for a full 3 years against hardware defects. This is critical because one part replacement can run you up to half the cost of the machine itself.
