    How do I fix without restarting as I don't want to loose my work.

    No Application is responding.

    A lot of the new Lion apps auto save every X seconds. Just hope they autosaved and reopen when you reboot :/

    Is it a hard freeze that requires a restart, or does the OS resume after a few seconds?
