    MB/MBP "Car Alarm" Application

    My cousin mentioned to me that a friend of hers says the MacBooks have an application that will allow the remote to "lock" the laptop just like a remote key for a car can. When you lock it, it beeps a car horn to let you know that it is locked.

    Then, and here's the best part of her explanation, if someone tries to gain access to the laptop it will fire the alarm, and take a picture of the culprit with the camera.

    Does anyone have the said application?

    LOL, sounds like a sound enhanced version of the surveillance feature of many webcam apps. Now I know to take the battery out of a Macbook before I steal it.

    u can't move it, the accelerometer built in will detect any kind of movements. in other words ur plan won't work.
