    Hey guys,

Apple states that MBA can be put to sleep for 30 days. Just want to know if its better to put the MBA to sleep frequently rather than shutting down and on-ing it again a few hours later? Which way do you recommend?

    Thanks in advance

Putting it to sleep, instead of shutting down, will definitely not kill your MBA. However, unless you are in the middle of doing something important, that you will like to quickly resume within minutes, it is better to shut it down, isn't it? True, MACs can survive longer than PCs without needing a reboot, but that doesn't mean you have to keep it on all the time. If there is nothing important you are doing at the moment, or if it doesn't need instant resuming, just shut the thing down and power it on again when you need to use it :) . It's called taking care of your gadgets :D .
