    Hi all,

Checking to see if anyone has a quick solution to this. I had Window Vista, via bootcamp, on my MBP. I deleted it via bootcamp. Now my usb doesn't seem to be working properly. When I plug in a flash drive (or iPod), after about 30 seconds I get a "drive attempting to mount" message. I click allow and nothing ever happens. iPhone still works and syncs fine via USB, cooler works fine via USB, so I'm pretty sure it's sofware related.

Also, when I did disk repair just now, once it was done, I restarted. I got a "no boot device" message. I had to restart and hold down options just like when I was dual booting to get the Mac HD icon to show. When I hit that, it booted fine.

I did get some repairs under disk repair, but it indicated the permissions were repaired.

Any suggestions? (would prefer not to reinstall everything if possible).

    Thanks in advance,

    Bill
