Hi guys, im just an owner of an awesome MBP 13" Mid 2009.

Right know, i have the opportunity to sell it and buy a 2 months old Used Mbp 13" 2010, i will need to put 150-200 Extra bucks.

My Mb has this Conf: C2D 2.53 Ghz, 4GB DDR3, HDD upgraded to 640GB, and the Nvidia 9400M.

I'm conscious of the improve on battery life and Vcard (320m) that the 2010 ones has over the 2009 model.
The exactly model i could get mounts a CD2 2.4Ghz Processor, 4GB DDR3 Ram, 250 HDD and the nvidia 320M.

So what do you think guys? it really worth the upgrade? In terms of performance will i noticed a big different? (Gaming). Should I wait for a possible 2012 model? i dont like the 2011 model because of the crappy video card.

The main use i give to it is web surfing, music and HD Movies playback, and occasionally light gaming over windows (NFS, COD, Battefield, etc).

    Thank U Guys!

Many benchmarks show that the 3000HD and the 320M are very similar and are a wash on most games. Face it you won't be able to play games even on medium settings on either card. If you had the chance to upgrade to a 2011 for 150-200 it would be worth it for both CPU and resale value over the 2010.

Yes you should see a significant increase in fps from the 9400 to 320 or intel 3000 (almost double), but in everyday tasks they will preform the same(2009&2010, 2011 will be more responsive due to cpu).

Is it worth it? If the money is burning a hole then buy it, I'm sure you could get $50-100 more when you sell it for your next upgrade

regardless what people have read, real world usage has proven that the 320m is in fact faster and makes many games that are unplayable with the hd 3000 actually playable on the 320m.

People saying there is no difference when they have 0 experience with either setup is getting really old.

Yes, this is getting old... It depends if you are talking about Windows or Mac OS X. I own both (a MBP with a 320m and one with a HD 3000)... and I have games that are faster with the HD 3000 than with the 320m... In most cases the 320m might pull slightly ahead. If you run Windows, I'm sure the 320m would be faster, but if you are going to talk about the OS that doesn't come on the machine, you should make that distinction, it is not a given.
