    Hey all!
I got a 13" MBP 4 days ago :) Its kicking so far...very impressed. I still don't think OS X is any better than windows but it sure is very slick. So I have a pretty straight forward question. I want to upgrade my ram from the base 2gb to 8gb. Will this ram work CM3X4GSD1066?
    Other links to that ram
    http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-CM3X4GSD1066-PC3-8500-1066Mhz-204-pin/dp/B001UOPXVG
    http://www.hardware.info/en-US/prod...rsair_Value_4GB_DDR31066_SODIMM_CM3X4GSD1066/

Now before people tell me that I dont need 8gb of ram...I can get a ram module for $70 :) I just need to know it fits!

    Thanks!

Its a mistake on the pricelist of an online store in South Africa. They forgot to add a 0 :p I have already ordered two just in case it can work but Im ordering 5 more sticks tomorrow! Unfortunately they dont deliver outside of SA. If someone really really wants the ram I could post it but I'm not too keen for that. But if someone really wants it then I will.

Majority of the people don't need 8GB hence it's not that common and why the prices are so expensive. I doubt prices for 8GB will come down much this year (in fact prices this year have been rising due to increase in NAND prices). Maybe in the next few years.

I'm paying with EFT (direct deposit) for that very reason. Also they send you a quote after you order and you confirm that price. I'm pretty sure it would be illegal if they changed me 6 times the price without letting me know. For all I know the price is right :p
