Hi all
I got a mid 2009 MBP last week, I decided to calibrate its battery based on apple instruction, I charged it fully, after 2 hours I disconnected it for complete discharging, but I left my MBP and it went to sleep for 10 minutes, I turn it on again and finished calibration process, Is it necessary to re-calibrate it because of that 10 MINs sleeping?

Once you fully discharge the battery apple recommend leaving the notebook for 4 hours
, before recharging it.
As long as the battery was fully discharged, eg, the notebook turned itself off and then you charged it, then it will be fine. -
Hmmm.... I haven't done this procedure yet on our 13 and 15 MBPs. I guess I can still do it, right? It's been about a week and they were used on and off with battery discharging some. It's actually going to be difficult to coordinate this, since the battery lasts too long and we are supposed to let it sit for 5 hours!

I would give it a hour to let the battery cool , and then charge it up with the notebook turned off.

A little detail: you actually want to let the MBP turn itself off and then wait until the sleep light stops flashing and goes out for good before recharging. As long as there's current for that light the battery isn't truly empty: it usually takes from 3 to 5 hours to go flat flat.
