    Hi,

Just wondering if I bought a MBP could I link it to my Desktop PC via the DVI? So for instance I play Supreme Commander on my PC and then the macbook is just a second screen?

    Thanks

I am pretty sure no. I don't think you can get an incoming signal to display on the MB screen.

It is physically possible, but not without a lot of modification to your notebook, so I'd recommend it.

I don't know how it would be possible, even with modification.

Well it would require finding an LCD controller and splicing into the main display cable. Completely possible, but at that point you no longer have a macbook :p

there are a couple usb tv tuners that claim almost no lag and are targeted at consumers to use to play xbox and such using your laptop as a display..pretty sure they would be windows only but you may find it useful using boot camp if your computer has a tv out..but as everyone else has pointed out there is no way to use it as a true second digital display without heavy hardware modification
