    Hi guys,

Just got my MBP 2 days ago, loved it, but have a little issue with it.

My MBP if I switch sleep on for a little while, it's fine, comes back to live, however, when I go to sleep myself (leave it for longer than 1-2hrs), it never wants to wake up. The sleeping light no longer flashes (it stays on when I open the lid) and the laptop is very warm (which i guess it's not even sleeping no more). Nothing responds and the only way is to hard reset/shutdown to get the computer working again. This was when I had my power cable connected. I did some research that it might solve the problem when you take out the power, then put it to sleep (havent done extensive testing on that yet).

Just wondering, anyone else had this problem? Should I ring apple and get them to take a look? it's sort of an issue that's hard to test on spot, as it requires several hours before showing up

    thx in advance

Are you talking about in OSX or Windows? I had a similar problem in Windows with Standby after I used several different graphics drivers from laptopvideo2go.com. Eventually I just reinstalled Windows and kept the Boot Camp drivers, problem solved. But you're probably not talking about Windows, are you?

Yeaps, try eternal's suggestion first. Next, have you installed all the Software Updates? That sometimes helps. If not, you can try and re-install OS X and see if that fixes anything, if not talk to Apple about it.
