I saw a few people have the Mac Logo as there Avatar, its just on a white background and doesnt fit in with the forums well. So I took the time to make a version for the forums.
It should flush in perfectly and look nice and seamless and I branded it with NBR.
See if anybody likes it![]()

Hi ViciousXUSMC,
Thanks for taking the time to make an avatar for the community. May I suggest you delete the background altogether and save the file as a .png? That way the background will be transparent and be the same colour as the rest of the forum page.
While we're at it I might as well offer an Apple logo with brushed metal that I originally made for MYK but he didn't end up using.

The reason I didnt do .png is because different browsers handle it different ways, so it may look perfect on one persons computer but not right at all on another persons. It was designed as an avatar and the color of the forums where the avatar is placed is always that same color, thus giving the effect of an invisible background.

For anyone interested in creating their very own Apple Logo:
Use the shortcut, option+shift+k in Lucida Grande font to create an apple. -

I may make a .png it wont be hard. -
Okay. So I was bored and I made an avatar. I'm using it now, heh. I used the exact same style of some other apple I saw and just put a music sheet on it just so I could personalize it in some way.

Ok made the .png where can I upload png to that wont flaten it?
It was more work than I thought, had to manually remove alot of stuff, and try it on various color backgrounds, because what looks good on white, may look horrible on black and vice versa. It has some minor flaws but none you can see really in its small size.
It has just enough transparancy to let the background color show thru it.
(note it shows white to me but thats because I am using IE I think... im at work and cant use firefox and I know IE doesnt show .png correctly) -
I still like my avatar so I put it in the sign. Thank you
