try doing a stop motion video on quicktime, its a breeze.
-
umm i am new to video recording and quicktime so what is stop motion mean?
-
its a form of video making where u use a series of pictures and put them together to form animations....it allows u to create some amazing effects.
-
Here's a good example, although very complex

omg man thanks so much for that.
-
dude u just gave me something really cool i am going to make some cool stuff with that..
btw is it free? -
yea ur welcome....its very simple to make, but it add a very different approach to making video, and its easy to make HD videos becuz digital camera shoot pictures at a resolution higher than 1080p anyway
-
and is it free? -
Well there are many ways u can do this....they is a software called istop motion that u have to purchase, its pretty neat. But i don't use that....all u have to do is getting an Digital SLR or a very good point and shoot, and captures motion, but the person u are shooting has to be moving really slowly. When u finish upload it to a computer and use QT pro to put it into a sequence.

ahh ok thanks mate
great tips from you so gonna give you a you know what a good reputation.
-
Nice tutorial here...but most of the stuff i learned by doing.
http://photojojo.com/content/tutorials/stop-motion-digital-camera/
Start by animating an inatimate object like an action figure or something. take a pic, move it a bit, take a pic move it a bit....so on and so on. Then see what u can do from there. -
I actually won a movie festival at my university using this technique, and the judges where amazed by it. They had never seen anything like it...my film was 3 and a half minutes long and used over 5000 photos.
-
right o i never thought of making stuff like this
this is a good movie making skill you got there mate.
-
Yeah tis a good technique which i have seen with old cartoons never knew how they did it now i do ....
thanks mate. -
a lot of work you put in glad the judges loved it too.
-
