I've only used OSX on a relative's computer. Questions, simple for you guys I'm sure:
Can I run my Vista work programs virtualized in OSX without rebooting? Similar to how I run Windows in Linux?
Does the Mac virtualization program(s) support 3D acceleration so that I could run some windows Strat games such as GalCiv II without rebooting?
tbanks...that's all.![]()

thanks then.
EDIT: Looks like the new Macbook 1599. unit fits me best. -
First, thanks for actually posting a legitimate question in a thread completely flooded with people complaining about what Apple ISN"T doing for them.
there are multiple options for running Windows/Linux in a virtual program.
what I do which is pretty different from what you are asking, but still interesting, is have a PC laptop running at home, and just remote control it and use it for very simple tasks by remote controlling it from my Mac with Leopards built in screen sharing app and Ultra VNC server on my PC.
it is extremely easy to get a really easy to use Mac/Linux/PC network going and can be used for so many things. -

what is really nice is how easy it is to see your other machines over the network within OS X, and how many networking options you have built right into the operating system.
