any Blackberry users out there?
What desktop program do you use with your Mac and Blackberry?

Now? Nothing. Can't get my Pearl to sync with RIM's Pocket Mac. RIM hasn't been any kind of a help, either. I love my BB, but despise just how poorly RIM supports Mac users

I have a Blackberry Bold and use PocketMac for BB. It works great here, syncs everything fine; no issues whatsoever. I originally had an issue with iTunes sync but with the help of their support and a file they sent me (mini update for Bold devices I think it was), it's been great ever since.
But I cannot do an OS install/reload or a full device backup/restore using it. However, RIM is supposedly going to release a desktop manager for mac this year. I know there are a ton of BB/mac users out there who can't wait for that, myself included. -
The Missing Sync for blackberry. It's the best. It's 40 bucks though. Blackberry Media Sync for Mac will sync your media via iTunes, which is nice.

i use "missing sync" for my blackberry bold world edition. pocketmac refused to work.. RIM is supposedly gonna bring out a mac version of BB desktop soon..missing sync for has some good features >>

Yea i use the pocketmac program that comes with the BB. Didnt have any problems with it, but I havn't synced from the phone to update my macs address book yet. Dunno how that will turn out.
Might have to get missing sync, if i want to constantly keep my info synced. -
My brother uses pocketmac and loves it. I think he is looking into "the missing sync"

I have both and regret getting missing sync because once the one issue with pocketmac was resolved, it did everything the missing sync does and more (Missing sync doesn't sync sticky notes while PM does) and it's free and officially endorsed by RIM (which doesn't mean much but still).
Having said that, in both cases you can't do OS installs/reinstalls and full device backup/restore. Only on a windows machine you can do those but hopefully not for long.

Well, you can install apps if thats what you mean, though the ones ive run across arn't very good. Maybe theres some good apps that you have to install from a computer (rather then ota) but i dont know of any.
