hey I'm just wondering if theres a Mac laptop that can play Call of Duty 4 on high settings, and if so, than what kinda prices are you looking to pay for one.

Yea all the macbook pro can play cod 4 in high settings just fine, cod 4 isnt a very demanding game at all.

the machine is not catering to the gamer crowd (by design). they did put the best gpu in there that could fit. its the fastest gpu for the size and weight class. if you want a better gpu, you'll need to get a different (and larger) laptop.

The selling point of the laptop isn't necessarily the gpu for a lot of people.
MBP has a lot of other things going for it, but yea not everyone on the market buys a computer based on the video card. -
. Look at other similar thin laptops, like the XPS m1530. They've got the same cards in them. However, I believe the Mac Pros have 8800s in them.... and can carry up to 4 CPUs and HDDs, and multiple GPUs I believe. But that's a huge desktop and a whole different story.
